After news broke that DeMarcus Cousins was signing to the Los Angeles Lakers, the west coast franchise also revealed that they would be re-signing Rajon Rondo for a two-year deal.
Rondo’s contract is for the veteran’s minimum of $2.6 million and will reportedly include a player option for the second year according to ESPN. While his last season was just okay, the franchise was reportedly optimistic about bringing the point guard back. The Lakers now have Anthony Davis, Rajon Rondo, Kyle Kuzma, DeMarcus Cousins, and LeBron James on their roster.
