Benzino was recently arrested in Atlanta after officers ran his plates during a traffic stop and found a warrant on his record stemming from an April traffic stop. When the story broke, Benzino was said to have been hostile with the arresting officers and the video essentially confirms that. He questions the officers on the grounds of racism, asking: "Would you all pull a white person over like that?" At one point, he screams at the female officer, "Suck my d***!" before threatening to sue her.

According to TMZ, Benzino was arrested this past weekend after a routine traffic stop that occurred in Atlanta. Apparently, Benzino was parked in the middle of the street and obstructing traffic when officers ran his license plate. The search showed that Benzino had an outstanding warrant stemming from an April traffic stop that he never followed up on.
Despite the officer explaining why he ran his plates, Benzino claimed that the entire encounter was predicated on the fact of his race. A second officer arrived on the scene and began the process of taking Benzino into custody. The police report states that Benzino got hostile and began spewing profane language while en route to the station. Benzino reportedly told the cops that he was "feeling faint" and received medical attention once he arrived at the police station.
He was later booked for a failure to appear and released soon thereafter.
