Following their success over the last year thanks to their hit records "Act Up" and "Twerk," the head executives at Quality Control Music have attempted to get City Girls' member JT released early from prison. With that said, JT and her attorney have reportedly just learned that she will remain behind bars for the final 8 months of her sentence.

Months prior, JT's attorney requested her release due to good behavior as well as her newfound fame, filing documents on her behalf that stated that City Girls "have grown an intense fan base and have developed relationships with the elite of the elite," while "granting this recommendation will allow the defendant to get back to the studio where she belongs."

Although the judge came back and denied the motion, it was reportedly because he wants the Bureau of Prisons to make the decision, leaving JT with a sense of hope that she'll still be released earlier than anticipated.

Back in June of last year, JT began her two-year prison sentence for credit card fraud, leaving Yung Miami to carry City Girls' momentum without her.
