Reports surfaced noting a man tried to steal Halle Berry’s home with a fake deed.
59-year-old Ronald Eugene Griffin was seen trespassing on the actor’s property previously in January 2019, and reportedly came back in March 2019 with a locksmith and had one of the actor’s locks changed on the home. The man was confronted by employees of the house, which led him to call the police and say the workers were trespassing on the premises.
The LAPD looked at the phony deed presented by Griffin, which led to him being arrested for petty theft and procuring and offering a false warranty deed.
