Update 06/17/2019 10:22am:

Although the IG account YeezyMafia has been the proven authority on Yeezy sneaker related news for years, they appeared to have been misinformed when they announced that the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Bred" would be re-released this Fall.

Following their announcement in a since-deleted post, the Vice President of Global Entertainment and Influencer Marketing for Adidas quickly dismissed the report as "#FakeNews."

The news is likely to disappoint Yeezy fans as the Black/Red colorway is symbolic of the sneaker's success that originated back in 2017 with Kanye West's partnership with Adidas, though it has been confirmed that the Yeezy BOOST 700 'Utility Black' will be released on June 29 with a $300 price tag.

The hype around Yeezys has certainly died down over the past year despite the shoes continuing to sell at a high clip. Nevertheless, it seems as though Adidas and Kanye West are looking to recapture some of that original excitement by bringing back one of the original 350 V2 colorways in Black and Red.

The "Bred" 350 V2s, featuring the bold "SPLY 350" on the side midfoot panel are scheduled to release sometime this fall. They will retail at $220 with prices likely to skyrocket if copping from resellers who will undoubtedly hike up the price on the coveted colorway.
