A 65-year-old Florida woman, Katherine Weitz, has been arrested after surveillance cameras inside the local daycare she works at caught her tossing and slapping toddlers during their naps. She was charged with harming the children and was arrested on May 23.
Weitz apparently told police that the day the abuse took place, she was having a bad day from a severe headache. Weitz said instead of calling off work like she intended to do she went to work instead and her patience was thin while working with the children as a result. When asked by police if she felt she had done anything wrong or has broken any laws, Weitz responded, "Probably."
