Most of the talk around the 2019 free agent pool has been centered on speculation of where Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, and Kyrie Irving will land next season. Another "K" name that hasn't gotten much attention has been Kemba Walker who isn't quite on the "superstar" tier but is one hell of a player.

The Hornets guard averaged 25 points, 5.9 assists, and 4.4 rebounds and is just 29 years old which should indicate that he has years left in the tank. Charlotte can offer Walker the most money but the Lakers provide him with a realistic shot at winning right away, the Knicks allows him to play back at home, and the Mavericks have a promising young core with Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. There are clear upsides to signing with either one of the interested franchises, however, it will be difficult to pass up a five-year $221.3 million contract.
