Trulondrick Norman, 21, known as NBA Big B, was arrested on Monday (June 10) after the Louisiana State Police Fugitive Task Force found him in possession of a stolen Glock 9mm handgun at a traffic stop. He was booked on two counts of attempted second-degree murder and possession of a stolen handgun.

The attempted second-degree murder charges stem from a 2016 shooting. NBA Youngboy and NBA Big B are accused of being the two gunmen that opened fire on two other men over the death of NBA YoungBoy's cousin, 18-year-old Keondre Ricks, earlier that day. NBA YoungBoy was arrested over two years ago for the incident and has pleaded guilty to aggravated assault of a firearm. He is currently in custody for violating his probation in the incident following a shooting earlier this year in Miami. A fourth person in the 2016 incident hasn't been identified.

The getaway driver, Ben Fields, who was a juvenile at the time, was previously arrested on principal to attempted first-degree murder. It was revealed that he is the brother of Deandre Fields, who was arrested for second-degree murder last week in the killing of rapper Gee Money.

Baton Rouge Police spokesman Sgt. L'Jean McKneely commented on why the arrests are being made years after the shooting, explaining, "Things are coming to light as they get more information and evidence."
