Anthony Joshua Says He Will Break 'Drake Curse,' Loses to Anthony Ruiz Jr.

Recently, Anthony Joshua took to Twitter to post a photo of him and Drake along with the caption “Bout to break the curse #June1st” in reference to his fight with Andy Ruiz Jr. However, things did not go as planned for Joshua, as he was defeated via a seventh-round TKO by Ruiz Jr. 

Many are considering the fight an upset, as Ruiz knocked Joshua down three times during the bout. Since then, Deontay Wilder chimed in with his thoughts on the fight, saying Joshua’s career consists of “lies, contradictions, and gifts.”
