According to TMZ, the late Stan Lee's former business partner and friend Keya Morgan has been charged with 5 counts of elderly abuse in relation to dealings with Lee. Morgan was charged on Friday stemming from a claim against him from June 2018. The following month, Lee's attorney requested a restraining order against Morgan and alleged that $5 million was mishandled on his part.
The court documents claim that Keya attempted to isolate Lee from his family and even moved him to an undisclosed location. Morgan told TMZ back in 2018, "For over 10 years I have shown nothing but love, respect & kindness to Stan Lee, & his wife, a fact he has repeated countless times." He added, "This is a witchhunt by his daughter and her lawyer against me because she cannot stand the fact Stan likes me so much. I will 100% prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the allegations against me are false. The truth will come out."
