Last August, DJ Vlad appeared on the Yanadameen Godcast with Lord Jamar & Rah Digga to face criticism about his interview style and direction of his platform, and now he's back for a second time to speak on further controversies surrounding his name.

Within the first segment of the interview, Vlad reflects on what the loss of Nipsey Hussle has meant to Los Angeles as well as hip-hop culture in general, as he details how his interview with Kerry Lathan came about and appeared to help his legal situation. For that reason, Jamar and Digga credit Vlad for giving Lathan a platform that gave his story more exposure, as the conversation shifts towards why his critics seem to overlook the positive influence of his brand while only focusing on the negative.

Later on in the interview, other current events are discussed such as Facebook and Instagram banning Louis Farrakhan and other "dangerous voices," as Vlad agrees that as a society we're moving towards modern-day book burnings as easy as it is to get 'canceled' for your beliefs.
