NBA legend Dennis Rodman has been accused of staging an audacious daytime heist at an upscale yoga studio in Newport Beach, CA. TMZ obtained the surveillance footage showing Rodman, along with two female accomplices and one male. The owner of VIBES Hot Yoga told investigators that Rodman tried distracting store employees as one of the women stuffs merch into her bag.
The man told employees he was interested in purchasing a $2,500 crystal art piece that he "dropped" in another attempt to distract employees as the women lifted more clothing. The team of alleged thieves then leave without paying for the broken crystal art piece. In addition to the art piece, the owners claim $500 worth of clothing was stolen.
Store employees also recounted that Rodman came in and "reeked of alcohol." Up to this point, however, the Newport Beach Police Department has yet to issue a statement on the matter.
