Comedian Chris D'Elia was overjoyed after Eminem and Logic sampled his imitation of the Detroit rapper on their collaborative track, "Homicide."

On Wednesday (May 8), Eminem wrote on Twitter, "Me and @chrisdelia are gonna battle one day #Homicide @Logic301," and D'Elia responded by writing, "Slim Shady himself called me out?! I accept." The comedian included a photo of him with a trunk full of napkins, which is a play off of one of D'Elia's freestyles where he imitated Em.

D'Elia revealed that he gave away the sample to Eminem and Logic, telling Billboard that he responded to the request by asking his manager, "Are you f*cking kidding me?" He added that when it came time to talk numbers, he said, "I was like, ‘Nah, don’t do that, just give it to ’em, it’s fine."

D'Elia then added, "I don’t care, man. It’s a huge honor. I have money coming in other ways. I don’t need that. I’m not trying to make money in the rap world. It’s first an honor. I did my silly impression in my garage. I say, ‘have at it.’ I make money doing what I do."
