An unnamed sexual assault accuser, referred to as "H.W." in court documents, has won a civil suit against R. Kelly after the singer failed to appear in Cook County court to face the complaint.

The accuser is seeking $50,000 in damages in the case, and the amount she's owed by Kelly will be determined when she appears in court next month to detail the alleged abuse. The woman, who is one of four women in R. Kelly's ongoing sexual abuse case, claims that she carried on a yearlong sexual relationship with the singer after they met at her 16th birthday party.

R. Kelly's publicist, Darrell Johnson, replied to the lawsuit, stating that "The lawsuit means nothing to us."
