A video has gone viral showing police officers in Florida pepper spraying then brutally beating a Black teenager. The video shows the officer spraying the boy in the face before slamming him to the pavement while the other two officers pounced on top of him. Sheriff Gregory Tony has announced that the officers involved have been placed on "restrictive administrative assignment," Broward County Mayor Mark Bogen has called for the firing of those responsible.

The video got reactions across the board with some major figures in sports and entertainment expressing their dismay at the ongoing police brutality waged against Black men and boys. LeBron tweeted,  "So wrong!! Hurts me to my soul!! To think that could be my sons," while Warriors coach Steve Kerr asked, "What the hell is wrong with our country? This is insane yet routine.
