Councilman Marqueece Harris-Dawson is set to introduce legislation on Friday (April 12) to rename the intersection of Slauson Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard as “Ermias `Nipsey Hussle’ Asghedom Square.
Harris-Dawson spoke about the first time he met Nipsey at a rally against gun violence in 2013, telling The New York Times, "It was 8 in the morning at Crenshaw High School. And here was this guy who I knew had a show the night before. He was there with his daughter."
