Paul Pierce Says He Was a Better Player Than Dwyane Wade: 'That's Easy'

Dwyane Wade is on his farewell tour after wrapping up a first-ballot hall-of-fame career. On Friday, the NBA Countdown crew on ESPN played a game where they compared Wade to other players from the past to gauge who was the better player or had a better career. Paul Pierce was asked "who's the better NBA player," he or D-Wade, Paul answered immediately, "That's easy! I can say that off the bat. That's me." 

Pierce continued to lay out his case: 

"If you give me Shaq, if you give me LeBron [...] If you give me these guys early in my career... When I was 24 years old, if you give me Shaq. When I'm 24-25 you give me LeBron and Bosh, I'd be sitting on five or six championships. Easy."
