Following backlash behind a three-year-old video where Cardi B confessed to drugging and robbing men on Instagram Live, her husband Offset is now publicly lending his support as people debate if Cardi should be held to the same standard as someone like Bill Cosby.
“Ride or die forever love you no matter what's going on I love you best mother and hustler I know,” Offset wrote alongside an undated photo of the married couple at a tropical destination. Meanwhile, the controversy over her alleged confession has continued to build steam throughout social media, already having led to the hashtag #SurvivingCardiB.
In response to the video resurfacing, Cardi said “I never claim to be perfect or come from a perfect world with a perfect past I always speak my truth I always own my s***,” a supposed reference towards taking accountability, though many wonder if that should be through the justice system due to the severity of her alleged crimes.
