A report that surfaced via the New York Times noted that authorities are currently investigating Conor McGregor after a woman accused the athlete of sexually assaulting her in December 2018.
McGregor has not been charged with a crime but was previously arrested in January 2018 and questioned by the police. He was released pending further investigation. Previously, McGregor announced his retirement from UFC, and a spokeswoman for McGregor made it clear that his decision to retire had nothing to do with the pending investigation.
