Update: Shaq Joins Papa John's Board of Directors

Previously, it was reported that Shaquille O’Neal is set to be the face of Papa John’s. Now, it was revealed that Shaq will be joining the company’s board of directors.

The chairman of the board of directors for the company—Jeff Smith said: “Shaquille has an excellent entrepreneurial background, including as a restaurant franchise owner, and is a natural creative marketer.” Shaq is set to make $8.25 million over three years for being the face of the company. Along with that, Shaq is investing in nine Papa John’s stores in Atlanta.
