A Dallas bartender has been arrested and charged after viciously beating a woman in a parking lot outside his workplace. The 30-year-old man, Austin Shuffield, was identified after a cell phone recorded him repeatedly punching the woman for supposedly blocking the exit, even pulling out a gun at one point during the violent attack.

It's since been reported that officers were called around 4:30 a.m. Thursday (March 21) to the 2800 block of Elm Street, where the 24-year-old victim later told police that she had stopped her vehicle after noticing she had been driving in the wrong direction.

From there, Shuffield allegedly got out of his truck and told her to stop blocking the exit, which led her to pull into the parking lot. At that point, there was a verbal argument that turned physical when Shuffield slapped a phone out of her hands while she threatened to call the police, which then sparked a barrage of punches from Shuffield after the woman attempted to defend herself with a punch of her own.

After being identified, Shuffield was then charged with aggravated assault, interference with a 911 call, and public intoxication, while thus far there's been no update on the woman's condition or the extent of her injuries.
