It's been reported that the ex-boyfriend of Love & Hip Hop star, Erica Mena, was fatally shot earlier this morning while celebrating his birthday. Cliff Dixon was reportedly partying at SL Lounge in Atlanta when an apparent lone gunman opened fire in front of the club around 1 AM, leading him to be rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Dixon, who dated Mena for 10 months in a relationship that found them both arrested for a domestic dispute, was also childhood friends with Kevin Durant and was said to be part of the NBA star's inner circle.
As the investigation continues on, it's unknown if Dixon was the intended target in the shooting, while an officer on patrol reported that he saw a black male wearing all black and a skull cap fire at the victim. From there, the officer states that people chased the subject who later escaped without being identified.
Dixon was 32 years old.
