Recently, Lisa Van Allen spoke to VladTV and claimed that R. Kelly and Aaliyah’s mom—Diane Haughton had sex several times. Van Allen claimed that Kelly would stay at Aaliyah’s home in Detroit in the ‘90s and would wander into the living room and have sex with her mother late at night when Aaliyah would fall asleep.
Now, sources close to R. Kelly say the singer is denying the claims Van Allen made. Kelly reportedly made it clear that he and Aaliyah’s mom never had anything but a “friendly relationship.” The sources also noted that Kelly thinks Van Allen made the claims in the interview with the purpose of smearing his name.
