Chicago's own Juice WRLD has just released his sophomore album Death Race for Love to mostly critical acclaim, which has made the album a commercial success on pace to sell 150K first-week units and debut at #1 on the Billboard 200.

Perhaps for that reason, the artist felt compelled to justify his creative process to his following online, by taking to social media to make clear that he didn't use any ghostwriters for the project.

"I don’t need anyone to right s*** for me," Juice WRLD ironically wrote in the misspelled tweet, "I freestyled my whole album by my mf self not knocking any writers or artist who have them but I just can’t sit here and not get the credit I deserve. with that bring said ..I FREESTYLED FAST F*** I LOOK LIKE"

Later on, the artist doubled down on his freestyle claims by adding "Video proof of me not needing anyone’s help to make hit songs I have my own brain and creative playground that’s something God gave me that no one could take from me ..f****** pidddddd."

What appeared to prompt the rant was a tweet from his girlfriend, who shared with the world that nothing was written down for the new album, yet he instead "freestyled every record, one verse after another."
