According to reports, Lonzo Ball is expected to stay out for the remainder of the season due to an ankle injury. Ball reportedly has a Grade 3 left ankle sprain with a torn ligament. Along with that, the Laker is also dealing with a bone bruise.

It was reported that the remainder of Ball’s season was shut down after he met with the Lakers and doctors. His re-evaluation resulted in doctors ruling against him returning. It was said that the best thing for Ball was “to regain complete health and come into the offseason ready for on-court and body training."

Ball has been struggling with injuries since the beginning of his NBA career, as he previously suffered a knee injury during the offseason last year.
