It was a historical night in the NBA as LeBron James passed Michael Jordan on the all-time scoring list, moving James into fourth place behind Kobe Bryant (33,643), Karl Malone (36,928), and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387 points).

James scored 31 points on the night and surpassed Michael Jordan's 32,292 career points on a driving layup during the second quarter, yet towards the end of the night with the game seemingly out of reach, he added a questionable blooper to go along with his historical greatness.

Down 13 with 2 minutes and 22 seconds left, James rolled the ball down the court to save time on the clock, yet by the time he picked it up Paul Millsap had forced the ball out of bounds. It was a solid defensive play by Millsap more than anything, yet James critics will continue to question his focus and leadership as the Lakers continue to play themselves out of playoff contention.
