The documentary Leaving Neverland has left Michael Jackson's legacy in jeopardy. The King of Pop has remained one of the most loved figures in global pop culture and entertainment history but the accusations of child molestation have resurfaced via the film coupled with the "cancel-culture" climate of today, it's not surprising radio stations are backing off spinning MJ records.

According to numerous reports, there have been a number of radio stations across the globe that have opted to pull Michael Jackson from their playlists. RNZ radio in New Zealand has pulled Jackson from their playlist with program director Dean Buchanan noting, “Playlists change from week to week and right now Michael Jackson does not feature on them.”

The Montreal, Quebec based CKOI and Rythme said Michael Jackson's music wouldn't be played on the station, indefinitely. Other stations in Canada have also made it a point to ban Jackson's music from their airways until further notice.
