Detroit rapper 9000 Rondae used news footage of police searching for a suspect for firing one shot and hitting someone at the Advanced Office Building in Detroit. While 9000 Rondae wasn't named in the news segment, the use of the clip in his "Public" music video led many to believe that he was addressing rumors that he is the shooter. He also seemingly addressed being a suspect on the track, making reference to Tay-K, who filmed "The Race" while on the run from police.
After the comments section blew up on YouTube, 9000 Rondae removed the news clip from the video. You can check out the original video up top.
