New reports are looking into the relationship Jussie Smollett formed with the two Nigerian brothers, Ola and Abel Osundairo, who reportedly helped him stage his attack.
The bond proffer issued by prosecutors in the Cook County State Attorney’s office, Abel and Jussie formed a friendship after they met on the set of Empire in 2017. According to The Blast, Abel played a stand-in character for Jussie's love interest on the show. Prosecutors claim that Smollett bought "designer drugs," including ecstasy from Abel since the Spring of 2018.
