Now over two weeks removed from the initial reports of the alleged hate crime on Jussie Smollett, law enforcement has reportedly confirmed to TMZ that a key part of his story isn't adding up. Recently, the actor participated in an interview with Good Morning America, where he emphatically said that he was certain the two men in the surveillance footage were the two assailants. The one problem, however, is that now that those two men have been tracked down, it's been revealed that they're two Nigerian men, as opposed to the white men that Smollett described them as.

TMZ has also pointed out that Smollett had said on numerous occasions that his attackers were white men, while that's even been confirmed by sources close to the actor as recent as today. Meanwhile, it's important to note that the two Nigerian men were apparently both extras on Smollett's hit show "Empire," though he's reportedly said that he doesn't know or recognize them.
