Lil Durk celebrated the release of his father, known as Big Durk, on Tuesday (February 12) evening. He tweeted on Tuesday, "Big durk home !!!!," and a photo of Durk out to eat with his father was circulating online.
Several years ago, Lil Durk, who was a baby when his father was sentenced, spoke about his father being in prison on Noisey's "Chiraq" documentary. He told them, "My daddy was one of the big guys. I seen a lot of it growing up…like I say, my head was just everywhere. I’m like man ‘I wanna be just like him.’ They say he got caught with like eight million dollars and like six bricks."
