Back in 2017, Post Malone and 21 Savage released their hit-record "Rockstar," that reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and went on to be nominated for Record of the Year and Best Rap/Sung Performance at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. With that said, upon the song's release, another artist had claimed that 21 Savage had stolen his lyrics for his featured verse, writing on Twitter at the time: @21Savage out here stealing bars 😂"

Now a year and some change later, Montana of 300 has doubled down on those claims due to "Rockstar"'s recent Grammy nominations, pleading his case back on social media to break down his accusations in detail.

Crazy @21savage stole my same exact bars from my verse on BLACK BEETLES REMIX and rapped it on his ROCKSTAR song ft. @PostMalone N won BEST SONG OF THE YEAR," the Chicago artist wrote on Twitter, "but choosing to stay independent, I’ll never get an invite or receive those white awards. N I’m jus fine with that. #Free21" The "win" for Song of the Year is probably in reference to the Billboard Award that the song took home for Best Rap Song last year, while it should be noted that "Rockstar" lost out to Childish Gambino's "This is America" at the Grammys in both categorized it was nominated in.

Nonetheless, it goes without saying that "Rockstar" has been the very definition of a smash-hit, thus Montana of 300 felt compelled to make a meme of the lyrics in question side-by-side. On his remix to Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beatles" record, Montana of 300 raps: "All these squares soft in the middle like pop tarts," while 21 Savage's lyrics go: "Sweeter than a pop tart you know you are not hard."

From there, Montana of 300 wrote alongside the meme: [That’s] like 4/5 bars @21savage stole...same cadence n all. So whoever’s accepting this meme...obviously isn’t going to listen to the verses. I said 'U are not hard' too. Along with like 3 other lines we both said that’s not in this meme. I 4got most of y’all 2 lazy to do research." Later on, he said he wasn't dissing or knocking 21 Savage directly, while pointing out that battle rappers have stolen bars from him on a regular basis.

Elsewhere, however, as a response to the supposed backlash he received for his accusations, Montana of 300 posted another highly questionable meme that depicts a very graphic image of gay sex, while adding "This how hard n***** be on my d*** #NoHomo"
