Nick Cannon has been filling in as the host of “The Wendy Williams Show” in recent weeks, as Williams has been on a hiatus from the show since the holiday season, where it's been reported that she's begun a long-term hospitalization stay for treatment of Graves’ disease. Elsewhere, it's been speculated that the gossip host has taken an extended absence due to complications in her marriage.
Nonetheless, Cannon is making headlines as an adequate substitute on the show, where recently he gave some comedic dating advice to Pete Davidson following his well-publicized split from Ariana Grande.
In the segment, Cannon instructs Davidson to get himself an older woman, going on to name his Top 3 women in order as Mariah Carey, Halle Berry, and Naomi Campbell. From there, he made the distinction that all those mentioned were the type of grown women that every man should want, adding that "none of them have sushi tattoos," in reference to Grande's recent "BBQ Grill" ink.
Later on, Cannon joked that he didn't know who Jennifer Lopez was, a supposed reference to a famous quote from Mariah, who he shares two children with.
