Never one to shy away from the latest controversy, 50 Cent recently appeared on DJ Drama's Shade 45 radio show to plug the new season of "Power," where he ultimately had a lot to say about Tekashi's federal racketeering case. When asked about what he thought of the reports that Tekashi accepted a plea and allegedly turned on his crew, 50 made clear that from his vantage point it looked like the Brooklyn rapper was ready to snitch on everybody.

"When I saw what I saw in the paper, I feel like he's going to tell on everything," 50 said to Drama during the segment, "and that was the part that wasn't even in the indictment, the stuff that he's saying is not even in the indictment, so he's offering that along with everything else."

He also addressed Tekashi's public image in comparison to his real life, by saying: "Look 6ix9ine is not from the streets, I liked him the way I like Soulja Boy, I thought he was special... but his imaging was stronger than the music," later adding that his original core fan base wouldn't rock with any possible comeback due to the circumstances.

To summarize his thoughts of the supposed rise and fall of Tekashi 6ix9ine, 50 said: "hip hop allows you to be on the safari and get close enough to the animals and not be in danger," before agreeing that "he had a personality that was interesting to watch."
