After his string of recent viral social media videos and press run, Soulja Boy announced that he signed a new record deal with Warner/Chappell Music.
He shared photos on Instagram with the caption, "It’s official I’m now signed to Warner/Chappell I’m the hottest rapper in the game facts. The photos showed Soulja signing his deal and later popping bottles of Veuve Clicquot to celebrate.
Soulja has been bragging in recent weeks about being the artist who set the blueprint for artists to get big on streaming platforms. He told 92.3's Big Boy, "I’m a legend, bruh. I put all of these artists on. I set the blueprint, If it wasn’t for me there wouldn’t be no Apple Music, Spotify, none of that. All of those streaming services is based behind Soulja Boy and the blueprint that I set."
