A man identified as Mark Allen Bartlett was arrested after hurling the n-word and pointing a gun at a group of teenagers riding bicycles during the annual “Wheels Up, Guns Down” protest on Monday (January 21). A member of the Dream Defenders activist group in Miami’s Brickell district took a video of Bartlett's outburst and warned him that he was going to be on the news.
The woman in the video can be heard telling the teens, "Please move your bikes! I have kids I need to pick up!" After she yelled about one of the teens running over her foot, Bartlett rushed over holding a gun and calling the teens the n-word.
Bartlett was arrested and charged on a concealed firearms charge and was held on $5,000 bond.
