Kevin Durant has been known to respond to fans both directly and indirectly throughout his career, while most recently an exchange with an overzealous fan was no exception. While at a recent event, Durant can be seen walking through a crowd giving hi-fives to fans, when one man inexplicably decides to take his hat right off his head.
"KD!!! I got his hat! I got his hat!," the man said with excitement, leading Durant to quickly turn around and say "watch yourself dog don't do that s*** again, be respectful out here m*****f*****, watch yourself."
The fan was quick to return the hat and repeated twice that he was "a big fan," and that he "loves that guy," to which one member of security replied "you're buggin," while another added "don't do no s*** like that again, don't do no stupid s*** like that again."
It's unknown whether the fan was subsequently asked to leave the event.
