With all the media frenzy surrounding R. Kelly at the moment, it would seem like now would be the perfect time to promote another documentary involving the singer, this time with a focus on his career beginnings when he started with the group, Public Announcement.

In the released trailer, you can see Kelly and his former group members perform their hit records "Honey Love" and "Dedicated" on Soul Train, in addition to visuals for "She's Got That Vibe" and "Slow Dance (Hey Mr. DJ) that led to the commercial success of their only album, Born into the 90's.

Also included in the documentary, are new interviews with all of the group's former members, whom based on the trailer seemingly have a lot to say.

"I don't really think we understood what was really happening because we were so young," Andre 'Giant' Boykins says to the camera, while later adding that there was no paperwork or contracts involved in their agreement. Boykins said Kelly propositioned the other members by saying "you come do this with me and I'm going to produce you after this," while ultimately conceding that they "didn't understand the paperwork because they were just so happy to be there,"

It didn't take long for the group to split up, however, as former member Rick Webster reflected on how "it got to the point where everything was a competition" amongst each other, which led to their disbandment immediately after their platinum-selling debut album.

Elsewhere in the trailer, another member of the group Earl Robinson alludes to more scandalous sexual activities involving R. Kelly, adding to the many accusations that have been brought forth in the Surviving R. Kelly docuseries.
