Two people were shot in a shooting at Newport Centre Mall in Jersey City, New Jersey. According to reports, the shooting escalated from a fist fight around 6:15 pm on Friday (January 11) evening.
First responders found a man with wounds to his arm and foot, and a second man was admitted to the Jersey City Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. Both men are said to be in critical but stable condition.
Police Chief Michael Kelly revealed two suspects were in custody, but it wasn't revealed if either was the shooter. More details to come.
