R. Kelly's daughter, Buku Abi, released a statement in light of the Lifetime documentary that alleges her father abused underage women.
In the statement, Buku called her father a "monster" and revealed that they haven't had a relationship for years. She also expressed sympathy and devastation for her father's alleged victims.
Buku wrote, "Going through all I have gone through in my life, I would never want anyone to feel the pain I have felt. The same monster you all confronting me about is my father. I am well aware of who and what he is. I grew up in that house."
