The parents of alleged R. Kelly victim Joycelyn Savage called Georgia police to claim that they were receiving threats from the singer's manager, Don Russell, for appearing in the controversial LIfetime docuseries Surviving R. Kelly

According to The Blast, Timothy Savage claims that Russell texted him around 6 am on January 3 and told him "it would be best for him and his family if the documentary does not air." The police report also shows that officers called Russell while they were with him, and noted that Kelly's manager said they "would be forced to provide information disproving Timothy." Russell added that the information would "ruin him, his reputation, business, and family because it would show him a liar."

Joycelyn's parents have been public about their claims that they believe R.Kelly has been holding their daughter hostage and not allowing her to contact her parents for years.
