Chicago rapper RondoNumbaNine took to Instagram to wish his followers a happy new year, and he gave a special shout-out to one of his best friends, who happens to be a woman. Before people could speculate that the woman is his girlfriend, he explained their relationship.
Rondo wrote, "I wanna let the world know that I don’t have a girlfriend!! but she is special she my best friend, my homie, my rowdy, my dawg, & she gang gang she gone be around foreva. because she showed me some that I won’t never forget#HappyNewYears To My Otf family & all my fans."
RondoNumbaNine is currently serving 39 years after being charged with killing a cab driver in 2014, and he's currently working to appeal the case with the help of Lil Durk. Durk recently told Billboard, "I want to set up a good future for RondoNumbaNine. We've been back and forth with lawyers on his appeal and it's looking really good. He's going to get out soon."
