Recently a controversial clip involving Louis C.K. has gone viral, in which the comedian is heard using the N-Word around Ricky Gervais, Jerry Seinfeld, and Chris Rock. Due to the sensitivity of the topic, TMZ recently ran into Wayne Brady and asked if he felt the word was fair to use in that setting and context.

"It was inappropriate," Brady said with no hesitation, "Louis C.K. shouldn't have been saying it, Chris Rock shouldn't have signed off on it, the great Ricky Gervais sure as hell shouldn't have said it, and Seinfeld stayed out of it, but that doesn't make him a hero or a saint, it just makes him tactically smart."

What seemed to bother Brady the most was the comfort level of Louis C.K. as he said it, which led him to consider the issue on a much larger scale. "People feel too comfortable saying that, and I don't care if your best friend is the blackest man in the world, just don't."

Even in reference to his children's friends using the word while singing along to their favorite songs, Brady once again gave advice to "err on the side of class, and don't say it."

When asked if he had final words, Brady simply said, "Merry Christmas, Louis, just don't use it."
