Update 12/20/2018:

Sometimes all a misunderstanding needs is a conversation, or perhaps sometimes a phone call plays out much different than an exchange on Twitter.

In any event, Tory Lanez and Royce Da 5'9 have apparently settled their differences, indicated by Lanez tweets that honor their truce.

"Spoke to Royce .... very productive conversation ... we good," Lanez tweeted initially, followed by another tweet that implies that Lanez is ready to take accountability for their initial debate going left.

"I do think that it is important at some point that me and Royce do get in the booth and go bar for bar ... because HIP HOP still needs to see us spar for the culture. But in all reality I didn’t need to tell him to SUCK MY D*** .. we laughed about that."

Time will tell if the two artists ever take this exchange to the booth.

Update 12/18/2018:

The Twitter exchange between Royce Da 5'9 and Tory Lanez has intensified since last reported. After Tory decided to delete his earlier tweets disrespecting Royce, he would later return with more disparaging remarks as the narrative became Tory deleted his tweets out of fear. Tory tweeted, "Ain’t nobody scared of rolls 57 lyrically . I deleted my comment cuz I’m not gone keep acting like my n***a Joyner didn’t do his thing. the old n***a kinda had a point .. what i said came off like some hating sh**. People are aloud to think anybody won ... simple."

Royce not one to back down shot back with:

"My n***a ... If you tryna get yo mufhkin a** beat, you doing everything right... I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt because you Canadian. Now go play somewhere before I get upset.."

While these two exchange pleasantries over Twitter, it's only a matter of time before one of them drops something on wax.

Tory Lanez and Joyner Lucas grabbed attention earlier this year with their rap battle, including that of Royce Da 5'9, who was asked if he thought Tory won the battle. Royce responded to a Twitter follower with a simple "no," which seemingly riled up Tory.

Lanez responded by writing, "That's why you rappidy ass n***as always had the wrong conception of a W...shows why y'all careers look how they look now."

Royce made it clear that he wasn't dissing Tory with his opinion, as he responded back to Tory by writing, "No need to get upset Lil homie. I thought yours was dope too. Somebody like you disrespecting somebody like me is ridiculous tho. Ima let slide because you’re 'new.'"
