First Look at Will Smith as the Genie in Aladdin

Over the last month, Disney has unleashed some heavily anticipated teasers for the new Aladdin live-action film, yet noticeably missing from trailers was the new look at the Genie. Fast forward a week before Christmas and now that time has come, as Entertainment Weekly has revealed the first look of Will Smith in full character. 

On his own Instagram page, Will Smith seemed to be excited about the new promo, writing "BAM!! First look at the Genie 🧞‍♂️, Princess Jasmine, and #Aladdin! Check Me Rockin’ the Top Knot Ponytail Vibes in @entertainmentweekly 😆 (and yes, I’m gonna be BLUE! :-) )" 

We'll look forward to seeing Will Smith's full transformation, keeping in mind he has big shoes to fill left behind by Robin Williams.
