Update 12/15/2018:

Kanye West previously went at Drake via Twitter and aired out their issues. Since then, Ariana Grande chimed in with her thoughts on the situation, saying Guys, I know there are grown men arguing online rn, but Miley and I [are] dropping our beautiful, new songs tonight so if y'all could please just behave for just like a few hours so the girls can shine that'd be so sick thank u."

Since then, Kanye responded to Grande, calling her out as well. West said, "All of this foolishness weighed on my mental health so @ArianaGrande you know I got love for you but until you’re ready to really make sure everyone’s ok don’t use me or this moment to promote a song."

Original 12/14/2018:

Although most of the world appeared to be entertained by Kanye West's Twitter rant last night (Dec. 13), apparently not everyone in the music industry found it that amusing.

Ariana Grande had just released her new single "Imagine" during the height of Kanye's tirade directed at Drake, and to shift the focus away from the drama and towards her new music, Ariana sent out a plea of her own on Twitter.

"Guys, I know there are grown men arguing online rn," Ariana wrote to her fans, "but Miley and I [are] dropping our beautiful, new songs tonight so if y'all could please just behave for just like a few hours so the girls can shine that'd be so sick thank u"

To let everyone know that it wasn't all about having the attention solely on her, Ariana included a reference to Miley Cyrus's new single "Happy Xmas, (War Is Over)," that based on her reply Miley clearly appreciated.

It should be noted that Ariana is very close with the Kardashian family, with Kris Jenner even appearing in her latest music video "Thank U, Next." Otherwise, it's been rumored that her new record is about her late boyfriend, Mac Miller.
