Kevin Hart faced backlash for his old tweets that many considered to be anti-gay. The backlash put his potential Oscars hosting gig in jeopardy and Hart even went as far as noting that he was not apologizing for what he said. This caused even more issues and ultimately resulted in the comedian stepping down from the hosting duties. Now, old homophobic tweets have surfaced from comedians Amy Schumer, Chelsea Handler, Sarah Silverman.
In one tweet, Amy Schumer said “Enjoy Skyfall f*gs. I’m bout to get knee deep in Helen Hunt #thesessions.” Another tweet from Chelsea Handler found her saying “This is what a f*g bird looks like when he flexes.” A tweet that surfaced from Sarah Silverman said: “I don’t mean this in a hateful way but the new bachelorette’s a f****t.”
There is no word on what will happen to these comedians as a result of these tweets surfacing from 2010 and 2012.
