The tabloids and paparazzi have always been driven by rumors and scandal, yet now it seems as if the Internet has taken the concept too far. Earlier this week, a photo was widely spread on social media that supposedly depicted Travis Scott in an intimate moment with someone other than Kylie Jenner, yet now it's been revealed that the story behind the photo was all a hoax.

Said to be nothing more than a "social experiment," the YouTuber took to Instagram to explain his motive was only to "fool the internet," though this obviously wasn't appreciated by the actual people involved.

As soon as the story hit TMZ, Scott responded by saying "Trolls always wanna create some fake s**t to destroy real love, GOING OVERBOARD TO MAKE SHIT LOOK LIKE IT'S NOT IS EVIL."

Days later, Kylie has responded to the prank as well, stating, "idk if this is really a social experiment to some people but you're messing with real people, real relationships, real family. I'm happy my relationship is strong because this is getting out of hand. the Internet scares me sometimes for real."

For good measure, Kylie's sisters have also condemned the fake news story with tweets that you can read above.
