People are still talking about the 2016 NBA Finals that will likely be remembered for many years to come, as the infamous Warriors collapse of a 3-1 lead to the Cavaliers could easily be considered one of the greatest comebacks in NBA history. It was the second of four consecutive matchups between Cleveland and Golden State, and the only matchup that LeBron James ever won in a Cavaliers uniform, including an appearance in 2007 when he was in his fourth year.

For good measure, it was the only basketball championship the city of Cleveland had ever won, prompting King James and his teammates to celebrate the victory in memorable fashion. Over six months after their victory LeBron and company threw an epic Halloween party, going full-out savage mode with 3-1 props and even R.I.P. cake decorations for Klay Thompson and Steph Curry.

Years later, the bad blood continues. When he was recently reminded about the party, Thompson said, "That was funny, look how that turned out. Psssh, bums... well look at what pettiness gets you. Gets you 1-8 in the Finals. Idiots."

The 1-8 refers to the Cavaliers Win/Loss record in the Finals since 2016, while now Cleveland is without LeBron James with a current 5-18 record.
