Seattle producer and rapper Syko was pronounced dead this past Friday (Nov. 16) after a car crash.
The crash was confirmed by his close friend Darryl Reese. The producer was known for his work with Mac Dre on the ’Thizzelle Washington’ album, as he produced “Boss Tycoon” and “Thizzle Dance.”
His work with Mac Dre ushered a new wave of music in the Bay Area, with artists like E-40 and Mister F.A.B. picking up the sound he pushed.
Syko leaves behind two children.
